Designing an identity for a brick and mortar shop is all I ever want to do. It’s just so exciting. You are bringing more than just a brand and message to life, but also crafting an experience. In the case of épicerie, it was even sweeter because I got to work with Sarah McIntosh, the owner and head chef, and I find her so inspirational. She had a vision of a completely unpretentious, yet definitely French-inspired cheese shop, grocery and restaurant, that would feel welcoming and comforting. We created the identity, menus, and website. It’s a beautiful restaurant with even more beautiful food.
